Almond Milk

Almond milk is a very pleasant thirst-quenching drink still widespread in Sicily and was once prepared at home with the help of a suggestive alembic, made from an overturned chair that stood on the kitchen table with a strip of white cloth tied to the four feet like a canopy, through which it filtered slowly, drop by drop, the white milk for summer afternoons.
