Description
A spoon dessert celebrating Cioccolato di Modica IGP, one of the world's finest chocolates. The creamy, intense pudding is enhanced by a golden caramel sauce that adds sweetness and complexity. A perfect finale for an important dinner party.
Ingredients
- 200g Modica IGP chocolate
- 500ml whole milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 80g sugar
- 30g cornstarch
- For the caramel: 150g sugar, 80ml fresh cream, 30g butter
Preparation
- Melt Modica chocolate in hot milk over low heat.
- Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar and starch. Pour the chocolate milk in a trickle while stirring.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the pudding thickens. Pour into molds and let cool in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
- Prepare caramel: melt sugar in pan until golden brown, add hot cream and butter stirring quickly.
- Unmold pudding and serve with warm caramel sauce.
