PELAGIE ISLANDS - LINOSA

The beach of Pozzolana, located west of the island, has always been the place chosen by Caretta caretta turtles to lay their eggs. This is one of the last remaining nesting sites in Italy and for this reason it has become a Site of Community Importance (SIC). Not to be missed is the hatching of eggs and the first entry into the sea of small turtles.
