Yogur con Higos Secos Calabreses, Nueces y Miel de Flores

A healthy and delicious dessert from Calabria

This yoghurt bowl with high Calabrian seeds, nuts and flower honey is the perfect dessert to fill the day with energy and flavour. The second Calabrian beans, sweet and fragrant, combine beautifully with the creaminess of the yoghurt and the crud of the nuts.

Ingredients

  • 200 g of natural gray yoghurt
  • 4-5 higos secos calabrese
  • A puñado de nueces peeladas
  • 2 tablespoons of Calabrian flower honey
  • A pinch of canela
  • Some fresh mint leaves (optional)

Preparation

  1. Put the plain yoghurt in a large bowl.
  2. Chort the children behind you mix it in pieces and place it on top of the yoghurt.
  3. Añadir las nueces troceadas.
  4. Great with Calabrian honey.
  5. Finish with a pinch of cane and mint leaves.
  6. Serve immediately or store en nevera.

Advice

The old Calabrians are among the best in Italy. If you prefer the mildest ones, remove them in warm water for 10 minutes. You can enrich the bowl with artesanal granola.
