Description
A delicate, Calabrian artisanal limoncello-scented panna cotta with a berry coulis that adds color and freshness. An elegant dessert to prepare in advance, perfect for ending a dinner party on a high note with no last-minute stress.
Ingredients
- 500ml fresh cream
- 80g sugar
- 3 sheets of gelatin
- 4 tablespoons limoncello calabrese
- Rind of 1 lemon
- 200g mixed berries
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Juice of half a lemon
Preparation
- Soak gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
- Heat the cream with the sugar and lemon zest without bringing to a boil. Remove from heat and add the squeezed gelatin and limoncello.
- Pour into the molds and let cool. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Make the coulis: blend the berries with the powdered sugar and lemon juice. Strain if you want a smooth consistency.
- Unmold the panna cotta and serve with the berry coulis.
