Tabla de Nduja y Quesos Calabreses
A Calabrian appetizer from Reyes
The table of Nduja and these Calabrian dishes is the perfect aperitif to surprise your guests with the authentic flavors of Calabria. Spilinga Nduja, with its creamy texture and spicy character, combines beautifully with cured Calabrian quesos.
Ingredients
- 150 g of Nduja de Spilinga
- 200 g of varied Calabrian quesos (pecorino, caciocavallo, salad ricotta)
- Aceitunas negras Monacali flavoured
- Calabrian rustic bread in rebanadas
- Aceite de oliva virgen extra Calabrés flavoured
- Miel de flores flavoured
- Nueces to taste
- Romero fresh
Preparation
- Place the toasted bread rolls on a baking tray.
- Place the nduja in a small container in the center.
- Cut the quesos into slices or nuts and arrange them on the table.
- Add Monacali's black vinegars in a bowl.
- Finish with a drop of vinegar, some nuts and a spoonful of honey.
- Decorate with fresh romero branches.
- Serve immediately.
Advice
The Nduja is easily greased in the pan room temperature. For a more intense experience, heat the Nduja slightly before serving. Accompany with a good Calabrian vino tinto like Cirò.
