Fennel

Fennel is grown and harvested in Puzzi, a small pre-Apromonte village in the province of Reggio Calabria. There are many varieties of fennel. The fennel called Montebianco is planted in October in naturally fertilized soils and arranged in hand-ploughed furrows, after being spaced out and hoed just a little. They are harvested in December to enjoy their sweet taste at Christmas time. The technique that we use in the family Martino in the care of cultivation is to fill the foot of the fennel of land so that it can come large, meaty and crispy.

Spedizione protetta in imballaggio traspirante. Conservare in frigorifero (cassetto verdure); per mantenerli croccanti a lungo, rimuovere la parte verde superiore se non utilizzata subito.
