Bergamot Liqueur

Bergamot (Citrus Bergamia Risso) is a citrus fruit that in Italy grows and fructifies exclusively in the coastal strip of the province of Reggio Calabria, where 90% of the world production is obtained. From Bergamot comes the essence that is the basis of many perfumes and cosmetics. It's also used in agribusiness and in the production of sweets. The liqueur obtained from it is catalogued as a traditional Calabrian product. Bergamot has many properties and is useful in cases of: cough, fever, cold, flu, sore throat, stomatitis, poor digestion, urinary tract infections, varicose veins, chilblains and acne.
