Ingredients
200g 00 flour
150g sugar
3 eggs
100ml olive oil seeds
100 ml milk
1 sachet baking powder
Grated zest of 1 lemon
150 g Rebecchi Candied Red Cherries
Preparation
Beat the eggs with the sugar until pale and fluffy. frothy.
Add oil, milk, and lemon zest, mixing well.
Incorporate the sifted flour and baking powder.
Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured 22 cm cake pan.
Spread the candied cherries over the surface, pressing them lightly.
Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes. Test with a toothpick.
Leave to cool before serving..
